This is the building where we work: CV1. Our department, Employee Communications, is lumped under the term Site Support. Who do we support? Manufacturing. Because they're the heart and soul of the business.
Everywhere you look there are traffic safety signs. If you fail to walk on the zebra crossing, guards call your attention! Here vehicles actually stop BEFORE the line to let people pass.

At four o'clock everyday I pack up and take the 2.5 hour ride on the employee shuttle back to Manila. *Sigh* Like I always say, just think of it as weekly field trips. The next 6 months will be interesting. I'm looking forward to what I'll discover here: both about my job and myself.

i had my OJT in intel during college! spent four months there! :) so, you take the shuttle from makati (bangkal?) to cavite everyday? gosh, that must be tiring!! at first, i was taking the shuttle too, kaso di ko nakayanan, so i looked for an apartment and found one with two other intel employees.
hmmm, sa CV1 din ata yung office namin. diba there's a shuttle from CV1 to CV2? hehe, reminiscing lang ako. and over sa safety precautions, there's so many signs around na SAFETY FIRST! you still have lunch coupons? :) dati non, P32 each coupon, how much na ngayon? we used to go to tagaytay for bulalo for lunch pag fridays! that's what i missed about intel! :) naku gosh, napahaba comment ko, napa-reminisce bigla!

wow gracita! small world! hahaha. what department were you in? ganda no? as if naman mahahanap ko yang dept. among the cubes all over the second floor. hehe
yes, i take the shuttle, but not from bangkal. since i live in ortigas lang, i take the shuttle that stops at mandaluyong. it's kinda taxing, the trip, but i try to put myself in the shoes of the pregnant employees who also ride the shuttle. if they can do it, so can i! :-)
yes, we still have coupons, but we are now given P50 coupons. :-) haven't tried hieing off to tags during the lunch hour. maybe later on.
you're right about safety. this is one of the most -- if not THE most -- safety conscious companies i've ever worked for. i like that they're so OC. hehehe. my kind of people.
