Here is the link to the entry by top golf scholar to the University of Cincinnati Bambee de la Paz, about the Masui, Lanao del Sur's mayor beating up her father and 14-year old brother.
The Mayor is Nasser Pangandaman Jr. His father, who was with him golfing, is DAR Cabinet Secretary Nasser Pangandaman Sr. Same name, same rotten bloodline. Truly the fruit falls not far from the tree.
The Inquirer picked up the story and has published it online. Thanks to the fury of connected individuals, Bambee's story will be heard.
How embarrassing is it to have politicians who hurt the very people they are supposed to serve? And here they go hiring bodyguards and the National Police to clear the traffic (which they caused) so that they can travel through the congestion with all their lights and sirens blaring. They expect the people to respect them (Di mo ba kilala kung sino ako?) when really, there is nothing there that will compell us to do so. Who are they anyway? Dynasties trying to keep their stolen money within their ranks? Gun-weilding nincompoops who can't understand simple human decency?
I'd like to see them both beat up in front of their families and not have anyone help them. I'd like to know how they'd feel.
And I so wish the staff at Valley Golf and Country Club get ready for the bad karma they are about to experience. They will not be able to escape it.
